A man from Hampshire died as the result of exposure, a coroner has ruled. Michael Nicholas was working as a construction manager up until he retired in 2008 after suffering ill health.
An inquest in Winchester heard how Mr Nicholas cut sheets of asbestos whilst working on building sites in the 1960’s.
He died in April this year.
Coroner Grahame Short said that Mr Nicholas died of an industrial disease.
