An elderly man who used to work as a coalminer has died from an industrial disease, it has been reported.
An inquest last month heard how Geoffrey Bleazard, aged 88 and from Horringer, Suffolk, had worked in the coalmines for 30 years, beginning when he was aged 14.
Last June Mr Bleazard had complained that he was suffering from a shortness of breath and went to see a consultant at West Suffolk Hospital.
The inquest heard how Mr Bleazard died last January from bronchial pneumonia, and pulmonary fibrosis, secondary to black lung.
